Autumn/Winter 2026
A-COLD-WALL* campaign featuring Actress
A-COLD-WALL* presents its Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign featuring artist and producer Actress. Directed by Nick Griffiths, the campaign is shot on location against the backdrop of London's new world cityscape.
Actress moves as a wanderer through areas recast over the past decade by large-scale regeneration. In an environment advertised before it was built - glossy hoarding and computer-generated renders promising a new way of living long before the streets, homes and public spaces they depicted were complete, Actress sits central - a capture of modern existence. Daily life and work in flux, stepping alongside each other, against a new reality detached from the preserved cityscape of the old.

A pioneer of his own corner of British electronic music, Actress (aka Darren J Cunningham) has, over the past 20-years and across multiple releases for Ninja Tune and via his own Werkdiscs imprint, spent that time building a singular, instantly recognisable sound - drawing on obscure, esoteric influences and pushing electronic production somewhere genuinely futuristic.

That same forward-looking instinct runs through AW26's backdrop. The campaign takes its cue from a specific turning point: the optimism of the 2012 Olympics, which accelerated a transformation already underway across East London. Regeneration on this scale is often read through a dystopian lens - ACW* AW26 instead looks for hope, in the ordinary, lived-in reality of a place still becoming itself.
